Added April 26, 2018
Glan Agua in conjunction with our Sister company, MEIC, have recently signed the Foxford, Charlestown and Killala Sewerage Schemes Bundle – Collection Networks and Waste Water Treatment Plants – Design, Build and Operate (DBO) Contract with Irish Water, worth an estimated value of €11 million.
This Contract involves the design, construction, commissioning, testing and operation of a sewerage scheme bundle, which includes the towns of Foxford, Charlestown/Bellaghy and Killala. The Contract will involve works on sewer networks and wastewater treatment facilities with plant sizes ranging from 2,300 PE to 4,500 PE.
This represents a strategic award for Glan Agua and MEIC, further enhancing our project portfolio in Waste Water and operations capabilities.
We look forward to working with the local residents, Mayo and Sligo County Councils, Ryan Hanley Consulting Engineers and Irish Water. It is a top priority for Irish Water to ensure that untreated wastewater is not being discharged into the environment and we look forward to improving the quality of receiving waters within the country on this project.
