Glan Agua and MEIC sign the Contract for Thurles Regional Water Supply Scheme, Contract No. 2.

Glan Agua, in conjunction with our sister company, MEIC, are delighted to announce that we have recently been awarded and have signed the Thurles Regional Water Supply Scheme Contract No.2.
This contract involves the Design, Build and Operation of the Thurles Water Treatment Plant which will produce 8,600m3/d, utilising state of the art technology.
This represents a strategic award for Glan Agua and MEIC, further establishing our position as market leaders in the water services sector.
Glan Agua and MEIC designed the facilities at Tender stage utilising BIM and 3D modelling to avail of all the benefits they bring such as clash detection, advanced planning etc. Through the use of the most cutting-edge technology, Glan Agua and MEIC will continue to innovate and become more efficient in all areas of business to reduce waste at every stage of a project.
We look forward to working with Tipperary County Council, Nicholas O’Dwyer, Irish Water and the various stakeholders as we deliver this project safely and successfully.
