Added January 09, 2019
In late 2017, The Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform issued tender documentation for appointment of Contractors to a national multi-party framework agreement for the provision of rapid-delivery housing projects throughout Ireland. The Action Plan on Housing and Homelessness has identified a need for houses to be provided under a Rapid-Build Housing Programme.
MEIC successfully prequalified for inclusion on the framework and undertook a number of tenders in line with the delivery schedule.
MEIC are delighted to announce that we were successful in our bid to Limerick City & County Council to provide 16. No. new Design Build (DB) housing units at Lisheen Park, Patrickswell, Co. Limerick. Works on this project are due to commence in January 2019. The potential demand for this Framework is in the order of 1,700 rapid-delivery houses and we are currently considering projects thought the country.
The provision of rapid delivery housing, fully delivered for occupation (i.e. designed, constructed and/or manufactured, delivered, erected and completed and certified for occupation in accordance with the Building Regulations and Building Control Regulations) within the time frame indicated by the Framework Client.
